On August 26th a massive Category 4 Hurricane made landfall near Lake Charles, Louisiana. When it came ashore it brought devastating winds and catastrophic storm surge. Oxford House had nearly 100 homes in the path of the storm. Of those houses, 3 were a total loss, displacing their residents. Several other houses sustained some damage.
